The OAS uses artificial intelligence to identify optimal appointment times. Complex calculations considering billions of combinations are completed in milliseconds, analysing a dizzying array of factors, including the technician’s attributes, skills and experience, their proximity to the property, other bookings in the area, service level agreements and travel times.
Through the OAS, tenants can access and book service appointments online, drawing from times and dates that are not only convenient for them, but also meet the business objectives for higher productivity and reduced travel time.
Optimal Technician Day
The Optimal Technician Day tool uses artificial intelligence to optimise the order and timing of jobs for each technician in milliseconds. Updating in real-time to changing conditions, such as traffic, services that are running overtime, drop-ins at agencies and the technician’s location, it’s constantly optimising to reduce the technician's travel time to a minimum and to complete the greatest number of jobs.
Using real-time updates, scheduling staff can anticipate required changes to the schedule ahead of time and make accurate point-in-time decisions to reallocate or reschedule jobs, keeping tenants up to date with the latest information and updating the technician’s schedule in real-time.
Service Time Predictor
Our Data Science department constantly analyse over 1.5 million data points from services conducted over the prior 3 months, using complex algorithms to consider elements such as the size of the property, the number of bedrooms, the number and nature of the appliances and even the experience of the technician sent to attend.
From this, our data science team accurately predict the service time we use to schedule our technicians’ days.
Maintained centrally, updating the work practices of 500+ technicians in real-time is easy. The services manager simply uses a drag-and-drop process to modify the workflow, enabling the business to adapt existing services, or even add new ones, without any need for IT support.
